Sitemap and how it matches the actual pages, duplicate or missing titles and descriptions, H1s, canonical URLs, pages with errors or redirects, structured data.

Accessibility
Alternative text, form labels, links and buttons without a name, heading order, pinch-zoom on smartphones, accessibility statement: requirements that, since 2025, apply to many companies too.

Privacy and cookies
We read your privacy notice and cookie policy and check the elements the GDPR requires; we check the banner, tracking and any cookies loaded before consent, and flag the risks you should know about.

Speed and mobile
Page response times, page weight, scripts, images, the smartphone version and, using Google PageSpeed, real-world loading times on mobile.

Trust and security
HTTPS connection, VAT number on the home page, the year in the footer and the details that show whether a website is well looked after.

Is it really free?
Yes. The check is free and commits you to nothing: it’s the quickest way to find out whether your website is working for you and meets the rules.
Which pages do you analyse?
The home page, the sitemap and up to 10 pages chosen from the main sections of the site, plus the privacy notice, cookie policy and accessibility statement if there are any. We can analyse every page in full on request.
Does the privacy and cookie check count as legal advice?
No. It’s an automated check that flags gaps and likely risks, useful to see where action is needed: for full compliance you need the opinion of a lawyer or a DPO.
How reliable is it?
The checks are automated, and the recommendations are written by artificial intelligence based on the data collected. Some aspects, such as cookies set after interaction with the banner, need to be checked in the browser: our team can look into them with you.
What do you do with my data?
We use your name and email only to get back to you about the results, if you want us to. We don’t pass them on to anyone and we don’t sign you up to any newsletter. Full details are in the privacy notice.
Can I analyse a competitor’s website?
Yes: we only analyse public pages, just as any visitor or search engine would.
