Last updated: 25 October 2026
This notice describes how Teknet S.r.l. processes the personal data of people who visit the teknet.it website and of people who contact us through its forms, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018.

For any request concerning your personal data, you can write to us at the address shown.
2. What data we process and why
Browsing data
During normal use, the systems that run the website collect certain technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, pages visited, browser type and operating system. We use this data to ensure the website works properly and securely and to detect any misuse. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Contact and quote requests
When you fill in the “Project brief” form or write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide: name, company, email, phone number, project description, indicative budget and timescale, and any attachments. We use this data to reply to you, prepare a proposal and manage any relationship that may follow. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Gender equality reports
The reporting channel provided for by the UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice is anonymous: we do not ask for your name or email. If you choose to leave contact details, we will use them only to handle the report. Reports are examined by the Gender Equality Committee in the strictest confidence. Legal basis: fulfilment of the commitments set out in the gender equality management system and legitimate interest in protecting the working environment (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Statistics and marketing
Only if you give your consent through the cookie banner do we use tools from Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) and Meta (Pixel) to measure use of the website and the effectiveness of our campaigns, and to show you relevant ads. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
Virtual assistant
The website offers a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence (Claude, provided by Anthropic) which answers questions about our services and, if you wish, puts you in touch with our team on WhatsApp. We process the text of the messages you write in order to generate the replies. The conversation remains in your browser for the duration of your visit and is not saved on our website: we keep only, in anonymous form, the questions about our services that the assistant was unable to answer, reworded without personal data, in order to complete its information; to produce the replies, messages are sent to Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf under its commercial terms and does not use them to train its models. Please do not enter personal data or confidential information: replies are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, the WhatsApp (Meta) privacy notice also applies. If you use the “Send the summary to Leonardo” button, with your consent we send by email to our contact person (and keep in the website’s restricted area for 24 months) the conversation, a summary generated by the same artificial intelligence service and the contact details you enter (name, company, email, phone number), so that we can get back to you: from that point on, the rules for contact requests apply. If you book a call using the dedicated button, the booking takes place on the external calendar service indicated on the page, subject to its own privacy notice. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request and legitimate interest in responding to requests for information (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).
Free website check
If you request a free website check, we process the website address, your name, your email and, if you provide it, your company. Our system reads a number of public pages of the website indicated (up to 10, plus the privacy notice and cookie policy) and, where enabled, measures their performance with Google PageSpeed Insights; the technical results and the public text of those pages are sent to Anthropic to write the assessment and recommendations, without your contact details. We show you the result, send it by email to the address you provided and send a copy to our contact person, who may get back to you about the results: we do not subscribe you to any newsletter. We keep the request (name, email, company, website analysed and result) in the website’s restricted area for 24 months in order to follow up, after which it is deleted automatically; the result, which concerns only the public pages of the website and contains no personal data, is kept for 30 days so that it can be shown to anyone who requests a new check of the same website. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Consent log
To demonstrate the choices made regarding cookies, we keep an anonymous consent identifier, the date and the preferences selected. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c and Art. 7.1 GDPR).
3. How we process data
Data is processed using IT tools, by authorised and trained staff, with appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects concerning you.
4. How long we keep data

| Data collected through third-party cookies | according to the retention periods set out in the Cookie Policy |
5. Who we share data with
Data is not disseminated. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by suppliers who help us provide the service: website hosting and maintenance, email, communication tools, administrative and tax consultants. Messages written to the virtual assistant are processed by Anthropic, the provider of the artificial intelligence service. With your consent, certain browsing data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited as described in the Cookie Policy. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some suppliers, such as Google, Meta and Anthropic, may transfer data to the United States. These transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it (Art. 15);
- correct or update it (Art. 16);
- erase it, where provided for (Art. 17);
- restrict its processing (Art. 18);
- receive it in a structured format and transfer it to another controller (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- withdraw your consent, without affecting processing already carried out (Art. 7.3).
To exercise your rights, write to info@teknet.it: we will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) (opens in a new tab).
8. Provision of data
Providing the data requested in the forms is optional, but without the data marked as mandatory we cannot respond to your request. Browsing data is necessary for the website to function; statistics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect new regulations or changes to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
